The first flight from techie to industrialist of Desai took off in 2000 - ‘Nidhi Systems’, was his debutant venture in the hardware of entrepreneurial track, where he delivered engineer driven solutions in the distribution and services space. Desai improved his ability and agility to turn math and physics theories of electrical engineering into entrepreneurial exercises that bore bonanzas. In Desai’s second shift of business with Himanshu Desai, who had the similar entrepreneurial backdrop, they started spanning and spreading NISH’s engineering exercises in textile, chemical and water belt of business. The dynamic duos, spelled solutions in electrical, instrumentation and automation circuits. Also worked hand in glove with corporate conglomerates in engineering their future and dream, altogether.
“I completed my graduation and after gaining experience at Hitachi-Hirel, I found myself looking at a much bigger goal. Over time, the business grew from 0 to millions in four years building my confidence. Then indicating that it was the right time to setup my own business. I started Nidhi systems, as a product distribution and services business but doing it differently, my laser-like focus was on transforming outdated technology to the latest one in textile machines, thus, supplementing customers with vigorous values. As anticipated Nidhi systems grew exponentially within 2 years being the first start up in the region crossing 1 crore turnover in 2002.”
