Multicare Services – Becoming global leaders
“Be positive and no procrastination”
Core differentiation -
At its very essence Multicare is an organization that focuses on core differentiation. It wants to develop a deep customer relationship that extends to customer service, networking and quality service. This has helped Mrs. Navneet Kaur Chahal, Director of Multicare services, immensely as she has grown the business one milestone at a time. The company’s motto is to build their client’s empire. She wants to take care of even the non-core parts of the business so that the business can focus fully on permanent growth and development.
The company focuses on payroll management by using customized software, and building online portals for communication, leaves, maintenance of complete employee life cycle, etc., manpower outsourcing or third party contracting, statutory compliance and liasoning, HR Consultancy, Training & Development, Recruitment & placement, Safety & Security services and such other services.
Navneet’s life journey–
Navneet Kaur Chahal, Director of Multicare services had an interesting start working as a lawyer. She studied B.COM and LLB, before heading over to the University of Manchester UK and gaining her LLM degree in Corporate Governance. She practiced law in Bomaby High Court, Labour Court and Industrial Court, and also worked as a Labour Law Consultant to various MNCs, and then she got involved into manpower outsourcing business named Multicare Services. Later Navneet diversified and into various other domains and also partnered with the NSDC/DDUGKY to integrate CSR activities as well. What’s interesting is that Navneet began her career working in an internship that only offered INR 5000 as compensation. She has come a long way and attributes her hard work to the success that she’s achieved.
Certifications and awards –
Along with winning many industry accolades and appreciation, Multicare services won the CRISIL rating – SME – 2 and they have been maintaining it over the last 2 years. In recognition of this achievement, the industry has been favorable to develop deeper ties with Navneet and work with her further.
A chance encounter–
If it hadn’t been for Multicare, Navneet would have been an Advocate, litigating and drafting for companies across India. What happened early on was that the CEO of the company passed away and there was a gap that needed to be filled.
Navneet being the entrepreneurial person that she is, decided to take control and learn as she went along. While there weren’t many challenges along her way, her positive attitude and focus towards work made the impossible possible. She wanted to be ahead of her competition and work hard towards making her dreams come true.
Leveraging technology –
The greatest differentiator and strength for Multicare in the industry has been through the adoption of high-tech solutions. When the product looks, feel and works better, the client is always happy. Those in the industry, who haven’t used tech to its full advantage, have seen multiple challenges in the execution and timely delivery of services. At the end of the day, manpower management is a lost art that few companies specialize in. Those, who do, have leveraged technology to gain all the advantages necessary for execution. Many others haven’t fared so well in recent years.
Creating employment -
The organization routinely assists in skill development and facilitating jobs for the underprivileged and the family of the workers. Everything from training students from J&K to training undergrads from Orissa and giving them employment, Multicare Services does its best to create opportunities within the industry.
