Dr. Sabharwal's Group was established with an aim of providing Dressings, Bandages & Plasters for wounds the world over. Established in 1984 the company went public in 1986. The first product launched in 1985 was Surgical Adhesive Tape USP & then one product was added every year. The quality became acceptable over the world. The first exports were to England & Scotland & then the world over. Now the group is manufacturing about 100 types of International standard Surgical Dressings, Ointments, Lotions, Ayurvedic Drugs, Herbal Cosmetics, Functional foods & Nutra-ceuticals.. Their aim is to provide International standard products and two third turnovers are from exports which are to each & every country of the world.
Chairman of the Group: Dr. Ajit Rai Sabharwal was born in 1938. He did his MBBS Degree from GSVM Medical College Kanpur in 1963, did Diploma in Medical Radiology & LLB in 1976. He started this venture of manufacturing surgical dressings in 1984 by incorporating a Pvt. Ltd. Company which went public in 1986. He started other group companies and completed the full range of manufacturing all surgical dressings, bandages & plasters. Now the other sections of ointments, lotions, Ayurvedic drugs, herbal cosmetics, functional foods & nutra-ceuticals have been added. He is still a young man of 76 with the same spirit & enthusiasm as when he started this group in 1984.
